We’re thrilled to introduce you to our new Facility and Events Coordinator, Tina Swann.
If you’ve been in the building recently, you’ll have already met Tina. Full of enthusiasm and laughter, she’s definitely brought a new and vibrant energy to the building.
We caught up with her to see how she’s been settling in.
Hi Tina, welcome to C4DI! How have you found your time here so far?
I've loved my time here so far, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. You've all put me at ease right from day one.
What drew you to C4DI?
I'd known about C4DI for years as I've worked for Dave Keel in the past. I heard how fabulous the place was, along with the amazing people in the building. So, I jumped at the chance to join the family.
What did you do before joining the team?
My previous employment includes a 17-year stint at Sonoco-Trident, a couple of years working at a sports internet company in Leeds, travelling the world with Thomas Cooke and I've also worked as a Wedding and Functions Manager in various hotels.
I started work at the age of six to fit all of that in... honestly!
Wow, that's an incredible career history. So, what do you do outside of the 9 to 5?
Dog walking seems to have taken over my life!
We got Dolly our Labrador two years ago and every holiday revolves around her now; every weekend ends up with the car smelling of wet dog and her favourite walk time is 4:30 AM each morning, so no late nights spent partying for me now.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
Now that's hard, so many I could think of, but I would go with the being able to teleport myself with no jet lag, anywhere in the world instantly.
I love to travel, but I hate getting there - the whole hassle of airports and that grotty feeling you have after being on a plane for what feels like days.
