Centre Manager John Magee said:

“We’re thrilled to be sponsoring Hull Comedy Festival, it’s going to be great fun and we can’t wait to see what acts they have lined-up. We’ve decided to offer a special PQ stage to host events for all the family and we’ll be using one of our empty units to do so.

It’s great to push the boundaries and explore how we can utilize the space in the centre, events such as Zany Races and Graduation ceremonies have proved incredibly popular so we’re sure the Comedy Festival will also be a hit!”

Other venues include; Hull New Theatre, Hull City Hall, Hull Truck Theatre, Comedy Lounge, Hull Minster  & Bonus Arena and the full line-up is set to be released Late September with a Festival launch day on 30th October within the centre, they'll be activities, stilt walkers, fun and games and they'll be a chance to tell a few jokes too and help you find your funny!

Creative Director of The Festival, Gary Jennison said:

“We’re super excited to be going into our 13th festival. This year we’ve got some fantastic acts lined up and we’ve tried to make sure that there’s something for everyone. It’s great that we’re able to partner with such a wide and varied range of venues and Princes Quay is no exception!  Expect a chance to get involved and fun, craziness and a lot of laughs.”
