C4DI members have the incredible chance to win a brand new Amazon Kindle at next week's #AnsellProtects Elevensies.
You may have seen the Chemical brothers (pictured below) in our reception this week, sporting some of the safety specialist Ansell's PPE protective clothing.
Ansell, who joined C4DI as a company member earlier in 2019, is now offering you the chance to win an Amazon Kindle for taking the best selfie with the Chemical brothers.
Some of our community members - including Chair of C4DI himself David Keel - have already been showing off their selfie skills.
You can get involved too by submitting your selfie before or during the event on Thursday 21 November. There will be a photobooth on the day of the event, where you can try on some of our PPE clothing and take your photos for the competition.
Simply tag C4DI (@C4DIHull) and Ansell (@AnsellProtects) in your snap on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, using #AnsellProtects.
The #AnsellProtects Elevensies will start at 11AM, where we'll be formally introducing Ansell, hearing from guest speaker Andy Dennis and then move onto experiencing an interactive tour.
Andy is an NHS nurse at Harrogate District Hospital and has previously been on three missions with Doctors Without Borders in Africa. Andy will be sharing his experiences and how Ansell has protected nurses (including himself) during the catastrophic Ebola outbreak.
Meanwhile, the interactive tour will allow you to experience first-hand how Ansell's products, services and technologies help to improve the worker experience and learn more about any collaboration opportunities.
Each workstation focuses on a specific product, helping you understand the product characteristics alongside competitive challenges and prizes.
There will be an opportunity to learn more about chemical protection and understand the R&D capabilities and facilities in Hull, as well as discuss future plans for collaboration opportunities.
For over 125 years and in over 100 countries, Ansell has provided protective clothing and innovative products and services to inspire confidence in people everywhere and enable businesses and consumers to perform better with complete peace of mind.
“Ansell is looking forward to future collaborations of combining its safety expertise with the talent and skills that the C4DI community has to offer,” says Helen Gill, Digital Marketing Specialist at Ansell.
“Joining C4DI helps us further strengthen our digital knowledge and expertise, driving innovation to protect workers in a digital world.”
We can't wait to welcome Ansell formerly, so grab your free ticket right now for your chance to meet new members and catch up with the community over cake and coffee.
