Louise Cooke, C4DI’s Community Manager has been selected as a judge at one of the largest annual tech conferences in Central and Eastern Europe.
Wolves Summit 2021 returns on 24-26 March as a hybrid event, made up of over 50 virtual talks and networking events, including a pitching event that puts startups in front of globally-known investors and tech organisations.
Running across three days, the Wolves Summit connects angel investors, VC funds, tech talent, and corporations with the most promising startups in the CEE region to help ambitious founders scale and foster international economic growth.
Over the last five years, the Wolves Match tool has facilitated strategic connections and strengthen ties between countries, expanding startup ecosystems and grow opportunities for entrepreneurs.
Louise has been chosen to be a judge at the Great Pitching Contest, a competition that is viewed by hundreds of international investors, corporations and media partners.
One hundred startups get the chance to present their solutions on a live stage and pitch in front of 50+ Judges from Microsoft, Accel, Balderton, Spinlab – The HHL Accelerator, Sunfish VC, Consilience Ventures, FundingBox.vc, Innovate UK Edge, APX, PKO BP, and of course C4DI!
The best 9 startups will be chosen to pitch again in the finals at 16:20 CET-17:30 CET on the 25th of March. After the private Jury deliberations, during the Closing and Award Ceremony at 18:00 CET – the winners of the 13th Great Pitching Contest. Awards for the finalists have been prepared by Wolves Summit partners AI Startup Incubator, Hubspot, Startup Grind, Plugin foundation, Navispace, SOSV, Edworking.co.
The red thread of Hull’s tech community, Louise connects startups, businesses and individuals, helping C4DI to create an abundance of opportunity within Hull’s tech sector.
Before joining the C4DI team, Louise came from a traditionally non-technical background, but her skills have given her a unique insight into how to work with people and help them succeed.
“I’m honoured to be invited as a judge at this year’s Great Pitching Contest,” Louise tells us.
“I’m looking forward to representing C4DI and seeing pitch decks from up and coming talent and hearing the exciting ideas that are being developed in Central Europe.”
