Patient Safety Congress is the only event to bring together international best practice, innovations from the frontline, award winners, guidance from national leaders and exhibitors all with a focus on patient safety and quality improvement.[1]
Cloud2's Kinesis works by allowing GPs to contact hospital specialists when their course of clinical action is unclear. This gives them to access expert advice rapidly, allowing more patients to be quickly and successfully treated in the community by their GPs.
This innovative use of intranet systems has saved primary care millions of pounds in avoided referral costs by reducing unnecessary referrals to hospitals, but more importantly reducing the time to treatment for thousands of patients.
