Annalieza Landa runs Make Your Marque, a provider of coaching, teaching and public speaking certified by international leadership guru John Maxwell. With Movember returning for a month of fuzzy fundraising, the Chief Inspiration Officer is challenging herself to host The John Maxwell Team Leadership Game workshops every working day from 1st November until 8th December.
"The game is ideally suited to leadership and senior management teams," explains Annalieza. "However, it can be adapted for teams at any level, so everyone can get involved."
Leaders and managers are invited to get in touch with Annalieza to arrange a pre-workshop briefing. The game will then be designed to fit the team on a bespoke basis, addressing key issues and highlighting opportunities for improvement. A photo of each team will feature on a range of online platforms, including the Movember fundraising page, providing bonus PR and digital.
With 25% of the proceeds from each game workshop going directly to Movember, Annalieza aims to donate over £5,000 in collaboration with a range of companies. Contributions to the Movember Movement go toward tackling the biggest health issues faced by men, especially prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
Funds are primarily raised in the form of growing a moustache for the month of November, yet each year sees an increase in additional activity taking place. Make Your Marque's engaging and motivational event is a great way to pinpoint opportunities for growth, whilst providing a fun teambuilding exercise.
Based at the C4DI in the heart of Hull’s bustling Fruit Market, Make Your Marque also operates remotely and visits organisations across the region. This flexibility allows Annalieza to truly understand what makes a business tick, with each client receiving a comprehensive evaluation following completion of the activity.
