C4DI International Visits Co.Brick HQ

C4DI International Director, Bob Spence shares his most recent visit to Poland in this article

What a pleasure for C4DI Ventures International to be at the co.brick HQ in Gliwice Poland!

After an excellent day at Rawa.Ink Katowice I (Bob) took a taxi to the co.brick ground floor restaurant ‘Good Place’ in Gliwice.

C4DI Barclays Eagle Lab had received an evening invitation from the marketing specialist and Startup Growth Manager of co.brick, Małgorzata Skorupa. Marcin Stachyra of Bona Notitia and I have been working with Małgorzata to identify joint Polish-Anglo Tech goals for enterprise from the Silesian region that match to the UK. I was grateful to Małgorzata for the invitation.

My first impression was what a great venue!

The co.brick event was Startup Meetup # 4!

The goals of this were hosted by Kuba Nagórski Head of co.brick Venture Building.

Kuba was the MC and did a great job of compering the evening in a humorous and warm style.

The vibe of the event felt good, and it was clearly well attended.

C4DI had previously met part of the co.brick team at the offices of KTW.legal.

That original meeting was courtesy of KTW partners Przemysław Magaczewski and Bartłomiej Medaj, so it was a pleasure to meet up with Rafał Bałaga and Michal Mateja of co.brick a second time.

Startup Meetup # 4! was an excellent evening of success being as the packed room were able to hear about the results being achieved by:

  • Jakub Duda from Meetlify Sp. z o.o.

  • Łukasz Siódmok from FILM RÓJ S.A.

  • Janusz Jasłowski from Infotower Technologies.

  • Radomir Kucharski from Incuvo.

We heard about the topics of business development, health, gaming, and crowd funding of film production. There were inspiring and motivational stories being shared.

I was introduced to some great connections at the end of the evening.

Many thanks to Malgorzata for the valuable invitation and also for organising my taxicab to the Gliwice train station! Bob Spence
